So, I'm finally able to blog about our Disneyland trip. We have all been sick since we got back. But, we are finally recovering from all the chaos. We left last Thursday and came home on President's Day. The weather did not really cooperate with us. It rained about half the time and the high was only in the 50's. I was hoping for Spring weather. But we weren't in the snow!
The first day we went to Goofy's kitchen for dinner. If you've never done it, do it next time you go to Disneyland. The characters entertain you the entire time and it's a buffet so the kids should find something they like. If you do the character signature book, it's easier to get the different characters to sign then to find them throughout Disneyland. We had Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Jasmine and Chip and Dale around our table most the time. Sienna enjoyed the music and danced all night.
We then went to Disneyland Friday and Saturday. It rained all day Friday, but the lines were short. We took Sienna on Peter Pan, Pirates, and the Bugs life rides. She did not like any of the rides that were inside. I think they were too loud and over stimulating for her. Except her favorite was it's a small world. It was a little harder to take an eleven month old then I thought. But luckily my family helped watch her so we could go on the bigger rides.
I also was able to meet my friend Sarah at Disneyland. She lives in San Diego and it has been over 7 years since I have seen her. It was great to catch up. Wish we had more time to spend together!
Sunday was a day of relaxation. We went to the beach and ate at Rainforest cafe. This place is not worth the money! The food wasn't that great and it is way way overpriced! It's not worth it! My mom watched Sienna that night and we went to see "She just not that into you". CUTE show!
Monday we went to the Long Beach aquarium and Bubba Gump restaurant. It was a pretty cool place. LOTS of people, but Sienna liked the Nemo fishes!
THANK YOU MOM for taking us all to Disneyland. It was a great Christmas gift to us! Its a trip we will never forget!
Goofy kitchen is worth the money! They are used to the mess kids make at dinner and the food was actually pretty good.
Thats a big Mickey!
Front entrance with our cheesy shirts. Yes, we were one of those families that have matching shirts. My entire family, 25 of us, wore them our second day at Disneyland. It was easy to find everyone. We did it for you mom!
