What a difference a year makes!

I can't believe its almost been a year since Sienna was born. With her birthday coming up next week, I've been trying to sort all her pictures from the past year. Its crazy to see how much she has changed! She still has her tiny features, but she looks so different from when we brought her home from the hospital. They do grow up too fast! I keep thinking she's not a baby anymore and that she's grown into this silly MOBILE toddler. I hope every year is as fun as her first! Can't wait for her to dig into that cake next week!

I finally got to this tag! The picture is really lame but it looks like it could be a postcard. We went to St. Louis and Kansas City to the see the Chiefs play against the New York Jets in 2005. It was an awesome NFL game. The chiefs killed them! We went to St. Louis too because there really isn't that much to do in Kansas City. It was a four hour drive from Kansas City to St Louis. Sam has never been to arch so we decided it would be worth the drive. But when we got there, the Arch was closed so we didn't get to go up, not that Sam would have anyway. But we at least got to look around the museum they have there. We also went and saw the Cardinals play that night. The weather was so hot, I remember sticking to the stadium seats. The humidity is horrible there! We will return soon---when the Chiefs get better!

California vacation

So, I'm finally able to blog about our Disneyland trip. We have all been sick since we got back. But, we are finally recovering from all the chaos. We left last Thursday and came home on President's Day. The weather did not really cooperate with us. It rained about half the time and the high was only in the 50's. I was hoping for Spring weather. But we weren't in the snow!
The first day we went to Goofy's kitchen for dinner. If you've never done it, do it next time you go to Disneyland. The characters entertain you the entire time and it's a buffet so the kids should find something they like. If you do the character signature book, it's easier to get the different characters to sign then to find them throughout Disneyland. We had Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Jasmine and Chip and Dale around our table most the time. Sienna enjoyed the music and danced all night.
We then went to Disneyland Friday and Saturday. It rained all day Friday, but the lines were short. We took Sienna on Peter Pan, Pirates, and the Bugs life rides. She did not like any of the rides that were inside. I think they were too loud and over stimulating for her. Except her favorite was it's a small world. It was a little harder to take an eleven month old then I thought. But luckily my family helped watch her so we could go on the bigger rides.
I also was able to meet my friend Sarah at Disneyland. She lives in San Diego and it has been over 7 years since I have seen her. It was great to catch up. Wish we had more time to spend together!
Sunday was a day of relaxation. We went to the beach and ate at Rainforest cafe. This place is not worth the money! The food wasn't that great and it is way way overpriced! It's not worth it! My mom watched Sienna that night and we went to see "She just not that into you". CUTE show!
Monday we went to the Long Beach aquarium and Bubba Gump restaurant. It was a pretty cool place. LOTS of people, but Sienna liked the Nemo fishes!
THANK YOU MOM for taking us all to Disneyland. It was a great Christmas gift to us! Its a trip we will never forget!
Hangin with Jasmine at Goofy's kitchen. I look huge next to her! Sienna liked her the best out of all the characters.

Goofy kitchen is worth the money! They are used to the mess kids make at dinner and the food was actually pretty good.

Thats a big Mickey!

Front entrance with our cheesy shirts. Yes, we were one of those families that have matching shirts. My entire family, 25 of us, wore them our second day at Disneyland. It was easy to find everyone. We did it for you mom!

She loves her cousins! She gives the twins kisses constantly! Her favorite is Morgan!

I think shes giving Minnie a bad look because they are wearing the same bow

Bugs life in California adventure park

Hanging at the beach in the freezing weather! Way too cold to swim. We at least saw a gorgeous sunset there

I love this picture! She loves being outside!

Long Beach aquarium, where I saw Steve Carell from the Office, but too chicken to get his picture. I don't ever know what to do when I meet celebrities!

Girls Night out!

Last Friday I went out some friends from work. My work had their version of the biggest loser a few months ago. Our team won 1st place, so we needed to celebrate! Pretty sure I gained every pound back this weekend! We went out to eat Friday night and had plenty of goodies at the hotel. American Idol karaoke as a lot of fun too. Me and Jen were the only brave souls to sing some awesome 80's songs. Hopefully no one else in the hotel complained about us. We then went to Gardner village on Saturday for some serious shopping. My New Years resolution was just on hold for a few days. Time to get back on the wagon!

Gardner Village shopping

Lorey's husband sent us with a "just for fun" bag with some "fun items" inside. We definitely had a fun girls night out!

Hangin out

Since January has been so blahhh, I thought I would just post some pics of me and Sienna hangin out at home. She is so funny with all her new faces that shes figure out how to pull! She's my chunky monkey!
She's becoming a picky eater. She wants real people food no more baby stuff!

I finally got 2 pigtails in! Its a rare occasion that she will sit still that long. Shes growing up too fast!

Her new favorite toy that she dances with. She has that booty shake down already!

Her two top teeth just came in.

NO MORE PICTURES TODAY MOM!!!!
