Easter Blessings

We had a great day on Easter Sunday. It was jam packed with family and fun! We finally had a Sunday where we could have Cruz' blessing. What a perfect day to do it on Easter! We had all of our families come to our house and have brunch afterwards. Nothing like cramming 25 people and 15 kids into our house. But I do feel so blessed that we have great families to share the holiday with. I also feel so blessed to have two beautiful healthy kids and a husband who takes care of our little family.
We also had a bbq at Sam's moms house later that afternoon and Sienna got to do her 4th Easter egg hunt for the week. We have candy coming out of our ears!!! It almost felt like Christmas with all the loot she received!

Sienna is in love with Tangled lately. I think we have watched it everyday for the past 3 weeks!

Easter egg hunt at Grandpa David's and Grandma Annette's house. Cousin Griffin and Sienna are the most spoiled grand kids I have ever seen!

St. George

We made our annual trip to St. George for Spring Break this year. It feels like its been a long time since we've been to St. George. My family always has fun at the condo in the warm weather and pools. This year we had one day of warm weather-60 degrees was it! The other two days it rained. BOO! It's always a nice break from being inside the house all winter at least. Hopefully next year it will be much much warmer!

One of the highlights of the trip was Cruz sleeping the entire 4 hour drive! AND Sienna slept 2 hours. We didn't have to stop once with two normally loud kids in the car. THAT was awesome!

We went to the animal museum (Can't remember the exact name). Sienna had a great time with her binoculars and cousins to run around with.

We only dipped Cruz's feet in because it was so cold. Sienna didn't care how warm it was. She kept saying, "I want to go to Curious George to go swimming with Grandma!!"

Bon Jovi

I finally saw one of my favorite 80's bands-BON JOVI!!! Unfortunately it was at the Energy Solutions Arena. Concerts never sound that great in that venue. We were sitting in the upper bowl, so luckily I remembered my trustee binoculars. It was a fun girls night out-one I will never forget!

Nicole, Jen, and I waiting to order. AND I mean waiting and waiting and waiting!!! We ate at IGGY's before the concert! Really good but really slow on service! Everyone had the same idea as us! WE thought we were smart to go to dinner two blocks away from the concert!

They didn't play "Always", my favorite song, but "Bad Medicine" went on for 20 minutes! I did love the cheesy 80's aerobic dance moves from Jon Bon Jovi though! Hopefully this isn't their last tour!

Disney On Ice

We went to Disney on Ice for Sienna's birthday. This was her first time and she really loved the princess part, especially the Enchanted song. I still don't know how a vendor can feel good about selling a $12 snow cone Not to mention the cotton candy, popcorn, and twirly toy. Disney is making plenty of money just from its ice show I'm sure. But enough gripping about the cost, overall it was fun for us and she looked so cute in her "Tiana" princess outfit she got from her birthday. Happy birthday my princess!!!

Happy 3rd Birthday Sienna!

Sienna turned 3 on March 13th! We had her birthday party at Syracuse Family Fun Center a few days before with cousins and friends. I asked her what kind of cake she wanted for her birthday and of course she just had to say "BARBIE!" I have never made a cute cake in my life! It was a challenge but I think it turned out pretty good for my first cake! She had fun playing on the bounce houses, jumping on the trampolines, and playing arcade games! She says "Now I'm 3 I can go to pre-school!" I'm just not ready for her to grow-up this fast! I love you my sweet girl and hope you had a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

I WANNA RIDE...

Every TV show or movie Sienna watches, if it has some kind of animal in it (real or cartoon) she always says,"Can I ride that ______!!!" She has mentioned a rhinoceros, giraffe, bear, elephant, owl, Henry the Octopus, and Dorthy the dinosaur. It cracks me up! The two days of teasing spring weather we got this month, Grandpa Brian got out the horse and pony to ride. Sienna has been afraid to ride Trixie her favorite pony, until NOW! It lasted for 1 minute and she held my hand half the ride, but she finally did it!!! She was so brave! I was so proud of her 1st ride on the pony! I know she will be a pro by the end of the summer!

CIRCUS

We took Sienna to the Jordan World Circus at the Golden Spike Arena. She has never been to the circus and she has been asking to go everyday since! She said her favorite part was the elephants, the tigers, the bears, and the dancing mermaids. It was a lot of fun!
