Lagoon Day

Sienna was able to ride some rides at Lagoon this year. All of her cousins were excited to ride with her. I still can't believe what they charge for a day pass for a toddler! RIP OFF! The only ride she really liked was the little cars that go in a circle. She kindove liked bulgy the whale and hated the carousel. I don't know if Lagoons carousel goes faster or what because she likes the one at the zoo. She wasn't too impressed with the train ride. All those animals look so sad! I'm glad she at least liked to look around at everything and all the people walking around. Hopefully next year she can go on a few more rides! And actually enjoy them!

Happy Father's Day

We celebrated Father's Day by having Mommy work all day! No actually we had a great dinner at Sam's moms house after I got off work. I gave Sam a gift certificate for a massage, (totally forgetting that's what he got his dad!) I feel like a horrible wife for not remembering something like that. DUH!!! Since Sam has been training for the Park City marathon, I thought it was a great idea! I will have to make it up to him for his birthday! My dad was on his mo tab choir trip so we weren't able to celebrate father's day with him. I just can't believe it's been over a year since we became parents. Its hard to remember what things were like before Sienna arrived! Hope everyone had a great father's day!

Camping in the rain!

We went to my family's cabin in the Uintah's last weekend. We had it all to ourselves so it was a lot of fun. Other than the stinking rain! It rained about half the time, so we at least got to ride the four wheeler a few times. It was fun to see Sienna explore everything and wanting to play in the dirt and mud. When we first got there, Sam had to turn on the water and found a skunk waiting for him in the cellar. Luckily it didn't spray Sam, but the next night it visited us again! He came up to the front porch and tried to eat leftovers from our dog's bowl. It was 11 o'clock at night, so it scared the crap out of us! He ran away once the we turned on the lights, so hopefully he went to another cabin for good! I'm glad we were able to go camping finally this summer. Hopefully there will more to come soon...
Sienna enjoying her hobo dinner. Or lack there of. She has been a non-eater lately.

She loved the four wheeler rides even with having three layers of clothes on

1st hair cut

I took Sienna yesterday for her first hair cut. I've been putting it off , but her bangs were getting so long they were driving me crazy! I usually pull them back with a barrette, but she always takes out anything in her hair. I took her to Cookie Cutters in Riverdale. They are a little expensive but you pay to have the kids watch a movie and sit in a cute car they can play with. The girl there did a good job. I was a little nervous Sienna might move and have a huge hole or something. She barely trimmed the back and cut cute bangs. Sienna has a little bit of curly hair in the back and I didn't want that gone. The only down side is I was told they will take her picture and give you a certificate for their 1st hair cut, but their camera and the computer that prints off the certificate weren't working. That would have been so cute to scrap! So this is my photography skills at home. She knows to say "cheese" now when the camera comes out. I think she looks like Boo from Monster's Inc. now! Love it!

Sea legs are here to stay

We went to Willard Bay on Saturday with Sam's mom and step dad. Sienna has never been on a boat before so we were a little worried of how she would react. It took her about 5 minutes to get used to the life jacket. She didn't like it because it confined her so much and she couldn't walk on the boat that well. She sat on my lap almost the entire trip. Once we starting moving a little faster and the wind blew her hair, she was golden. I'm so glad she liked boating! I always tell Sam that one of my goals in life is to get our own boat and go to Lake Powell every year for a family trip. I love it down there! Hopefully we can start doing that in the next few years.
I really wanted to wake board, but Sam got in first and then the wind came. It looked like it was going to rain too, so we decided to go back in to play it safe. I hope I can wake board this year. It's been way too long. I was surprised that the bugs weren't that bad. Hopefully it will stay that way. AND hopefully we can go a few more times with Grandma and Grandpa. Thanks for taking us! I LOVE SUMMER!!!

ISN"T SHE THE CUTEST GIRL EVER?!!!
